United Nations Military Observer course (UNMO) Commences

The United Nations Military Observer course (UNMO) commenced from 27 August 2018 at the training center with the participation of 19 officers from Nepali Army, and 4 International Officers from friendly foreign countries namely Mongolia, Philippines and Srilanka.

This course is designed to impart knowledge on role and responsibility of UN military Observers in a UN Integrated Mission

The course concludes on 13 September 2018.

UNDPKO recognizes the PDT and UN Staff Officers Course Conducted in BPOTC

The United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations has recently verified and provided the Training Recognition to the Contingent Pre-deployment Training and United Nations Staffs Officers Course conducted by the BPOTC.

Hence, peacekeeping training should have a systematic approach in order to develop training standards, policies, guidance and best practices for the trainers.
